Flipsta Lister privacy policy
Last updated 16 October 2026
Flipsta Lister is a browser extension made by Flipsta. It copies an item you choose on Flipsta into the new-listing form on Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, Gumtree, Shpock, Whatnot or TikTok Shop, so you don't have to type it in again. This page explains what it does with your information. It also helps keep Flipsta's deal photos, prices and stock up to date by reading AliExpress and Temu product pages and eBay UK, Vinted, Shpock and Amazon UK search pages (see Deal data below). For the Flipsta website itself, see our privacy policy.
What it handles
- The item you send it: the title, price, condition, category, size, description and photos of a listing you own on Flipsta. It only gets these when you press Auto-fill on Flipsta's Sell on … helper page.
- Deal data: public product details (photos, price including any new-shopper welcome price, stock, specifications, description, the product video link and photos from 4–5 star buyer reviews) from AliExpress and Temu product pages that Flipsta lists as deals, public eBay UK search results (titles, prices, sold dates and item links) used to check real resale prices and to look for items members have asked for, public Vinted, Shpock and Amazon UK search results (titles, asking prices and item links) used to show what a deal is listed for elsewhere, and (staff accounts only) AliExpress search results used to find new deals. It reads only the pages Flipsta asks for, in a small minimised window, and sends those product details to Flipsta. It never buys or bids on anything, adds anything to a basket, or reads your AliExpress, Temu, eBay, Vinted, Shpock or Amazon account or messages, and your orders only as described below. It runs when you press Pull listing on Flipsta, and in the background every 10 minutes only if you switch on Help keep deal data fresh in the extension (staff accounts have it on), and you can pause it on any computer.
- Trending lists and your own ads (from version 1.6.0): public Amazon UK Best Sellers / Movers & Shakers and eBay UK trending pages (titles, ranks and prices, staff accounts only), and the public page of each Vinted or Shpock ad you made from Flipsta, to see whether it has sold so Flipsta can take it down everywhere else. Right after you post an ad that the extension filled in, it sends that ad's link to Flipsta.
- Your supplier orders (only if you switch on Fill in supplier tracking): your own AliExpress and Temu orders page and AliExpress tracking pages, read in your own browser where you're already signed in. It sends Flipsta the order number, date, status, tracking number and which products are in each order, only to match them to your own Flipsta sales. It never sees your password or payment details, and never buys, cancels or changes an order.
- A buyer's address: when you press Buy on AliExpress on one of your Flipsta orders, the extension keeps that buyer's name and address in your browser for up to 2 hours and types it into AliExpress's address form when you press Fill in. You check it and place the order yourself.
- Nothing else. It doesn't read your browsing history, your passwords, your messages, or anything else on Facebook, Vinted, Gumtree, Shpock, Whatnot or TikTok Shop beyond what's listed above. It doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers.
Where it's kept
The item is stored only inside your own browser (Chrome's extension storage) so it's ready when the listing page opens. It's kept for up to 3 hours, or until you press Clear in the extension or send another item. It is not sent to Flipsta or anyone else by the extension. Deal data is sent to Flipsta, signed in as you, so Flipsta knows which member read which page.
What it sends and to whom
- It downloads your item's photos from Flipsta (flipsta.co.uk), where they already are.
- It sends the public product details it read from AliExpress, Temu, eBay, Vinted, Shpock or Amazon UK pages to Flipsta (flipsta.co.uk).
- With Fill in supplier tracking on, it sends your own AliExpress / Temu order numbers, dates, statuses, tracking numbers and product ids to Flipsta (flipsta.co.uk), to match them to your sales. Nothing from them is shown to anyone else.
- It types the item into the listing form on the site you chose. Nothing is posted until you press that site's own Post or Upload button. What you then publish there is covered by that site's own privacy policy.
- It doesn't sell, share or transfer your information to anyone.
Where it runs
Only on Flipsta's own pages, on Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, Gumtree, Shpock, Whatnot and TikTok Shop, and on the AliExpress, Temu and eBay UK pages it opens itself for deal data. It has no access to any other website.
Removing it
Remove it from Chrome at any time (right-click its icon → Remove from Chrome). That deletes everything it stored.
